Grace Githiri is an urban and territorial development professional at UN-Habitat, where she manages the Urban–Rural Linkages Programme, leading work on the Urban–Rural Linkages: Guiding Principles, food systems, SMART villages, and intermediary cities, with a strong focus on climate action and inclusive territorial development. She oversees programme implementation, partnerships, advocacy, capacity-building and knowledge products.
She supports the National Urban Policies Programme, integrating cross-cutting themes including climate change, health, food systems, rural development. Her experience spans Africa, Asia, and the Arab region, working with partners across government, academia, civil society, and the private sector.
