Norah Syokau Katunga
Urban Law and Policy Officer 
Norah is working on UN-Habitat projects in Syria, Ukraine and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She is also working on developing a Land Law Assessment Framework and Case Studies on climate-resilient and low-carbon urban development in UN-Habitat’s Policy and Legislation Section. She holds a Post- Graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law and a Bachelor degree in Law from Strathmore University.  Before joining UN-Habitat, she worked at DLA Piper – IKM Advocates as a Trainee Advocate on Tax, Commercial, Corporate and Capital Markets, Finance and Real Estate and Dispute Resolution. She also worked in at the Centre for Arbitration, Mediation and Legal Services as a Legal Assistant on arbitration cases under a Chartered Arbitrator.
