Simon is a human geographer specialized in globalisation, migration and development. He now works as an Urban Policy Consultant at the Policy and Legislation Section, UN-Habitat. Before joining UN-Habitat, he attained his master’s degree in Human Geography from Radboud University in the Netherlands. He has experience conducting geographic research related to urban governance, mobility, informality and participation in Egypt and Pakistan.
