Xinwen Hu is working on Urban-Rural Linkages and on mapping National Urban Policy (NUP) projects in the East African region in UN-Habitat’s Policy and Legislation Section. She holds a Master’s degree in International Development from Sapienza University of Rome in Rome, Italy and a Bachelor’s degree in Languages for International Relations from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, Italy.
Before joining UN-Habitat, she worked in China at CPO&Partners as a Legal Intern, conducting legal research and providing consultation services to clients. She also worked in Italy, at Tamat NGO as a Project Assistant, contributing to capacity-building projects in Africa and supporting the social integration of migrants in Italy.
Xinwen is fluent in Chinese, Italian, English, and French, and has intermediate knowledge of Spanish. She can be reached via [email protected].
